G5 LED Codes

Onboard LED indicators provide real-time system status at a glance, including the ability to flash diagnostic trouble codes directly from the ECU. These codes apply only for G5 ECU’s released after NEO. For Voodoo Pro V1, the downloads section has a PDF, and for all ECU’s, the codes are accessible in PCLink Help.

LED 1 (Left) - Power and Fault Codes

Solid Blue

  • ECU powered, no faults

Flashing Blue

  • ECU fault codes, long 10’s method (Codes listed in PCLink Help)

Flashing Red

  • No communication between Comms Module and ECU. This is typically seen when
performing a Firmware Upgrade. If this occurs outside of doing a firmware update then doing
a firmware update with the latest Link Firmware Package file should fix this.

Solid Red

  • Communication board or ECU in boot mode.

LED 2 (Center) - Wi-Fi/USB Connection status

Off

  • No USB or Ethernet cables connected and Wi-Fi is turned off.

Solid Blue

  • USB plugged in but PCLink not connected, no Ethernet plugged in and Wi-Fi is turned off.

Solid Purple

  • Ethernet plugged in but PCLink not connected, no USB plugged in and Wi-Fi is turned off.

Solid White

  • Wi-Fi turned on but PCLink not connected, no USB or Ethernet plugged in.

Changing Colours

  • There is more than one possible method of connecting to the ECU but PCLink is not
    connected yet.
    - If Blue is one of the colours then USB is plugged in.
    - If Purple is one of the colours then Ethernet is plugged in.
    - If White is one of the colours then the Wi-Fi is turned on.

Solid Green

  • PCLink Connected.
