DI Driver-4 User Manual

Introduction

The Link DI Driver-4 is a highly configurable driver box for controlling up to four solenoid type direct injectors and one high pressure fuel pump solenoid.

Solenoid type direct injectors require a higher voltage and current peak and hold functionality to operate correctly as they are of a lower resistance than standard high impedance port injectors and need to be able to open faster and against higher fuel pressures than port injectors and remain shut during combustion events that they are exposed to.

High Pressure Fuel Pump solenoids are often low resistance and so require peak and hold current control to operate safely without overheating and being damaged.

It is very important that your DI Driver-4 is configured correctly for the injectors and fuel pump being used and for the signals coming to it from the ECU.
